This is such a powerful song. The lyrics that sticks with me the most, "Father, take away my pride. Just set it all aside. So that I might hear what You have to say. Lord, I am tired of all my guilt. I'm tired of all my shame. Break these chains and set me free." I find myself repeating throughout the day and it made me realize that I often find myself reminiscing on the past and the guilt and shame of my actions. It makes me pause to thank God for loving and accepting me as I am. When I listen to this song, I think of the verse Psalm 51:10, "Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me."
