Song of the Week: Worship Song About Knowing He Will Fight With Us + For Us

CHILLS... Every time I listen to this song, chills break out at the reminder that even though I am not worthy of the love and salvation given to me, He will fight for me no matter what.

In 1 Timothy 6:12, we are called to "Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called and about which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses."

If God is willing to fight for me even when I am nowhere near worthy, why would I not fight to show how good my Father is - and let others know that there is eternity waiting for them?

The song reflects on the stories of David, Daniel and Mary, reminding us that when the odds were stacked against them, they were never alone. God was with them. He carried them through their transgressions!

The final verse turns the focus to us:

“So what’s your story here today? What’s the giant in your way? Are you trapped and can’t get out? Or are you staring down a lion’s mouth? Can you stand before the Lord? Or do you need to hit the floor? It don’t matter what you’ve done ’Cause the battle is already won. So lift your voice with me and sing, ‘My God fights for me!’”

The fight was never about proving we’re worthy. It has always been about trusting the One who already won—and who continues to stand by us no matter what we face.

So whatever your giant is… Whatever situation you feel trapped in… Whatever part of your story makes you wonder if you can stand before the Lord…

Lift your voice anyway. Because the battle is already won.

The March Bundle is simply a reminder of that truth. A way to declare, even on the hard days, “My God fights for me.” And if He fights for me, I will fight the good fight so others can know there is eternity waiting for them too.
