August Monthly Prayer: Keep Showing Up

Dear Lord,

This month, I pray that You will guide my heart. "So let's not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time, we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't give up." — Galatians 6:9. Let me keep this verse close to my heart and remember to keep showing up, no matter the circumstance, no matter how hard it may be.

Lord, help me to trust in Your timing this month. Help me put into practice the fruits of the Spirit this month and remember to be patient and have self-control. When I feel sad or discouraged, let me be reminded that even in those times, You are still faithful and still at work in my life, even when I don't see it. Give me the strength to do what is right. Give me the strength to love others as You would love them, regardless of what they have done to me. Give me the strength not to hold grudges but to forgive and show grace as You showed grace to me.

Lord, let me remain faithful and diligent to the responsibilities You have placed before me. Guard my heart against doubt, comparison, and fear. Teach me to focus on You and Your promises rather than the circumstances that surround me. Help me find joy in my walk with You, even when my circumstances make me feel anything but joyful.

As I walk through this month, fill me with wisdom, patience, and peace. Open my eyes to the blessings You provide for me. Let me be a reflection of Your love wherever I go. I trust that You are guiding my steps and working all things together for good according to Your plan. Lord, give me the courage to keep showing up, even when I don't want to. Everything I have is because of You. Thank You, Lord, for everything You do and have provided for me.
