How to Care for Dear Heart Apparel so it Last Longer
At Dear Heart, every piece we create is more than just a shirt or pullover you throw on in the morning. It's a reminder of truth, hope, purpose and most importantly, a way to bring yourself and others closer to Jesus. From the moment a tee is designed by our founder, Nichole, through printing the design in-house, folding and placing it on the shelf and finally carefully packaging it, ready to be shipped, each piece is handled with intention and prayed over.
By printing in-house, we ensure the quality of each piece while staying connected to the mission: to create more conversations about Jesus. As we fold and package orders, we pray over the order and the person who will receive it. We pray that the piece will encourage, strengthen and remind you of God's love each time you put it on.

Because each piece is thoughtfully created and carefully prepared before it reaches you, we want to help you keep it looking and feeling its best. Following the care instructions below will help preserve the color, softness and quality of your garment so you can enjoy it for years to come.
For care instructions, we recommend washing the apparel in cold water, with like colors, or is possible, separately and on a gentle cycle. We have found that this best helps preserve the color.
We also recommend avoiding stain removers, as they can fade the dye or strip the garment's color, depending on the product you use.
Hanging the pieces to dry is one of the best ways to keep the tee from shrinking and to avoid added friction and heat that could cause holes, pilling, or stains to set into the fabric.
