The Bible Verses Our Team Is Carrying Into This Season
There is something so special about the way God's Word meets us in different seasons of life. Sometimes, a verse we've known since childhood, like John 3:16, takes on a new meaning as we grow. Other times, we find ourselves turning to Scripture not as familiar to us and discovering a truth that we didn't know we needed to hear, but God did.
Whether it is walking through a season of uncertainty, learning to surrender control or just needing the reminder of God's faithfulness, His Word gives us truth to return to and promises to hold close, too, in times of uncertainty.
At Dear Heart, our faith and God's Word are at the heart of everything we do. But beyond the products we create and the messages we share, each member of our team is walking through their own journey with the Lord. We asked our team to share the Bible verses they're holding on to right now and why those Scriptures are meaningful to them. Here's what they had to say.
Marlee Muhlbauer, Director of Culture, Ephesians 2:10

"My favorite verse is Ephesians 2:10. We are all God's masterpiece. As a creative and as someone who loves art, I think of someone who is an abstract artist, who, even though it doesn't look beautiful to the world around them, it is still so beautiful and so perfect to the Creator of 'that masterpiece.' So that is why I love that verse, because even the broken pieces within me are still beautiful to God."
Tracy Hauger, Wholesale Fulfillment, 1 John 4:19

"My favorite verse is 1 John 4:19 because it is a reminder to love other people."
Gracie Duggins, Wholesale Fulfillment, Galatians 5:22-23

"My favorite verse is Galatians 5:22-23. The fruits of the Spirit remind us how we should be treating others on a daily basis, and it's how my husband loves me, so it is like a daily reminder of how Christ loves us and how we should be loved."
Bella Timms, Baking Lead, Isaiah 43:2

"My favorite verse is Isaiah 43:2 because I know whenever I go through trials, He is going to be with me all the time, and I don't have to worry."
Avery Wilks, Baking Team, James 1:2-3

"My favorite verse is James 1:2-3, and I love it because Jesus does not promise that we are not going to have trials. He promises that He is going to be with us when we go through them. It gives us opportunities to grow in our faith and minister to other people."
Bailea Welker, Warehouse Team, Acts 20:24

"My favorite verse is Acts 20:24 because it reminds me that no matter what I go through, He is going to be there for me, and that I need to stop living for myself and that it is always going to be God's plan and not mine."
Aubrie Kabisch, Baking Team, Philippians 4:13

"My favorite verse is Philippians 4:13 because, throughout volleyball, it kept my faith strong through playing sports and keeping our team together and showing that as a team with Christ, we can do all things."
No matter what season of life we're walking through, God's Word gives us truth to hold on to and reminds us of who He is. Whether we're learning to trust His plan, finding peace in the middle of uncertainty or being reminded of His unfailing love, Scripture points us back to the One who never changes.
The verses we're holding on to may look different, but each one reminds us of the importance of keeping God's Word close to our hearts and allowing it to shape the way we live.
Now, we'd love to hear from you. What Bible verse are you holding on to in this season of life, and why? We'd love to hear how God is using His Word to encourage you, teach you and strengthen your faith.
